§ 10-27. Notice of violation—To be served to owner.

  • Upon the discovery of any of the following public nuisances upon any property in the corporate city limits of the city, written notice shall be given the owner of said premises that they are in violation of this article through the existence of one (1) or more of the following conditions:

    (1)

    The growth of grass, weeds or other uncultivated plants to a height greater than twelve (12) inches (1 foot) on any property.

    (2)

    The accumulation of garbage, trash, rubbish, refuse or other matter or objects of an unsightly or unsanitary nature.

    (3)

    The accumulation of stagnant water.

    Separate notice of any such violation may be given the tenant, lessee or other occupant of said premises.
