§ 9-28. Permit required.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain or operate any mobile home park within the city unless such person shall first obtain a permit in the manner herein specified.

    (b)

    The permit for a mobile home park shall be obtained from the city secretary. The fee for each mobile home lot in the mobile home park is on file in the city secretary's office. Each permit shall expire on the last day of December of each year in which issued. The cost of any permit secured having less than a year to run before the expiration period, as herein provided shall be prorated, but no permit shall be issued for less than a minimum fee which is on file in the city secretary's office. Application for renewal of permits shall be made within thirty (30) days prior to expiration, and a renewal fee shall be paid for a full twelve-month period thereafter.

    (c)

    The application for a permit shall be filed with the city secretary. Any changes in the number of lots in any mobile home park after permit is granted shall be reported to the city secretary within seven (7) days from date of change.
